President
Cameron is a member of the Samson Cree Nation, situated in Treaty 6 territory. He holds a BA in Indigenous Studies from Simon Fraser University. Drawing from his experiences of growing up both on and off reserve, Cameron is passionate about developing housing initiatives and social support programs for Indigenous peoples.
Vice President / Elder
Ruby Bird is from the Paul First Nation and brings over 25 years of experience teaching Indigenous children and youth across Canada. She holds a PhD, MBA, and a BA in History and is a dedicated historian, specializing in research on Indigenous peoples within Treaty 6 territory.
Treasurer / Secretary
Jordon Bester is originally from Calgary Alberta and currently lives in Edmonton with his wife and daughter. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Alberta and is now working towards receiving his masters in Structural Engineering. He has a passion for social equity and community empowerment through previous volunteer opportunities throughout the community. He hopes to continue to learn, advocate and collaborate to provide opportunity to Indigenous communities that also honor their cultural traditions and values
Elder / Cultural Advisor
Gloria Bearhead is from the Paul First Nation and has served as a Board Member for off-reserve housing initiatives. She is a Nakota Sioux Language Instructor and holds a diploma in Social Work, bringing 20 years of experience working alongside alcohol addiction mentors and counselors.
Advisor / Elder Assistant to Ceremonies
Clifford Stick is from the Ministikwan Cree Nation. He is a Cree Language Instructor and a member of the Education Board for Island Lake Cree Nation. Additionally, he serves as an Advisor for Indigenous communities within Treaty Territories.
